I am a 38 year-old software engineer who works 20-25 hr/wk from home, and spends the rest of the time enjoying being mom to a 3.5 year old son. I'm making plans to take a year or so off work when our twin girls are born. My DH of 8 years is a hardware engineer. I was raised in a frugal home and my father was a stockbroker, so I started my financial journey from a position of strength. And yet I still have a lot to learn about investing.
